As President of Wasatch Biomedical, he brings over 34 years of experience in the medical device industry to help start-ups and established companies introduce innovative, outcome-driven products to market. His expertise spans research and development, sustaining engineering, process development, regulatory, quality, and marketing all aimed at advancing healthcare and improving patient outcomes.Before leading Wasatch Biomedical, he served as Senior Director of Research and Development at BD, where he guided a global R&D team of over 100 professionals. His leadership was instrumental in driving growth through new product development, product line management, marketing, and P&L oversight. He successfully led multiple high-impact franchises, including Dialysis, PICC, CVC, implanted Ports, Applied Research & Technology, Catheter Care, and Custom Kits.Notable achievements include managing teams in China, India, and Singapore, including establishing the company’s first R&D center in China. His career has spanned the fields of vascular access, respiratory, dialysis, oncology, gastroenterology, pain management, cardiology, and oral care. He is responsible for development and launch of products generating nearly a billion dollars in annual revenue and significantly improving the lives of millions of patients worldwide.In addition to his professional accomplishments, he serves as an Industrial Advisory Board Member for the School of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah, where he helps guide the next generation of innovators in the biomedical field.
